Winter typically is not most couple’s first choice for a wedding. However, winter wedding photos can be downright magical! For those skeptics out there, here are 5 Winter Photo ideas that just might have you daydreaming of a white wedding afterall! (And no, we’re not talking about the Billy Idol kind.) And for those of you already planning a magical winter wedding… your welcome.
1. Just stand there…
We’ll get the easiest one out of the way first… if you’re lucky enough to actually have it snow on your wedding day, your outdoor wedding photos will be AMAZING! You can just stand there and look beautiful while Mother Nature does all the work. And while we can’t control the weather, you could consider renting a flurry machine.
2. Wrap up in something warm and cozy
Wrap up in a pretty blanket. Get cozy in a soft fluffy wrap. Add a pop of color with beautiful pashmina or sweater. Sprinkle in a dose of personality with a coat that is just so-you! So many possibilities that will add a ton of character to your wedding photos.

3. Have a Snowball Fight
Have a snowball fight with your squad, make snow angels, build snowman. The theme here… play in the snow for some really fun and unique wedding photo ops!

4. Get some Doorway Shots
We hear what your saying… ‘but standing out in the snow sounds really cold.’ Grab some great doorway shots. The doorway will frame the shot beautifully and you’ll still get to see that wonderful winter scene. Plus, you’ll be covered.
